Default 1.6to1.6 engine swaping question

Ok, i have a 1992 geo tracker 4x4, 5 speed, and i am always having problems with the ecm ,its all just a hassel .I think i like the old time carburated style engines ,(much easier to work on )Any ways them capacitors keep leaking in the ecm,but i have a 1986 chevette rotting out back and it has a 1.6 auto in it..I was wondering if any of you guys would know if that chevette motor would bolt on that tracker 5 speed transmission .cause im fed up with the throtle body injection .As soon as spring hits i am gonna try to strap that chevette engine in there somehow .

I am just hoping that someone on here knows or heard of the problems i might have and maybe give me some advice ...
