1992 Sidekick engine problems
I bought a non running 1992 16v sidekick, actualy is runs on two cylinders(#1 and #4) and only with the timing greatly advanced.
I went through the engine and verified that the timing belt was installed according to the manual, (Crank at 12, cam at 12, #4 at TDC). I believe the distributor is on correctly (rotor is in the 1 o'clock position when #1 is at TDC), the ignition wires are in the correct order(1,3,4,2), compresion is good on all cylinders. All cylinders are getting good spark and fuel.
Any ideas?
