Hi I own a 1994 1.6l Suzuki Sidekick 16valve.The motor compartment was packed full of snow over night by the blowing wind and would not start the next morning.I cleaned all the snow out with the air hose I was careful not to blow off any hoses or wires. It still will not start I put the battery charger on to keep my charge up.Nothing looks wet or anything,it has started flawlessly till now.It won`t even sputter,Pretty cold out as well .Any ideas would be appreciated Thank You all
Yeah, after YOUR waiting 4 hours I would have expected that there would have been at least 25 people sitting at their computers waiting to get back to you. Oh well, maybe some of them had to work today or something. Maybe the thing to do would be to let the forum know how you took care of it, Tracka
Here I am sticking my foot in my mouth.I thought I had it fixed it was running yesterday really good too and now this morning nothing again.I think the fuel pump is going. Will let everyone know what ends up being the problem.Again sorry to everyone for stupid comments it won`t happen again.
Hi my suzuki started up yesterday afternoon after temperature out side warmed up and ran with no problems. Now this morning when the temperature is a about -12C it will not start again. Now this is the second day it has done this,So it is not starting when it is cold out side and starting when it warms up a bit in the afternoon. The suzuki ran really good till the day it was pack with blowing snow.Thank you tracka96 you are a real good person. Thanks for getting back to me.
if it doesn't start in colder temperatures, it could be increased resistance in your electric connections. Try cleaning all grounds, battery and starter connections, then coat them with dielectric grease. Even if this isn't the solution it doesn't cost anything and would be normal maintenance. Good luck.
