Default sidekick 94 question

hi everyone im new in this forum , just bought a suzuki sidekick 94 today and the soft top on it is pretty messed up and was wondering if i can put a hard top from a tracker. also the guy i bought it from says that he brought it to a garage and that the guy said dont put it in 4x4 or the hub might break or something like that, does anyone know of this kind of problems ?

thanks in advance

If your hubs are wore out they could break but that seems unlikely.

I'm the suspicious type, my first thought is that the seller is covering his butt cuz he knows there's something wrong with the 4WD. Might be worth while to have a 4X4 shop just look at it to find out the true story. Tracka

for the price i paid for it the guy is not covering is but , he just didnt really know much about motors. he just told me what the garage said. he was only asking 450$ for it i got it for 350$ and its wroth way way more then that, motors is still really good only 167 000 km ,just a bit of surface rust on the body and the soft top is pretty damaged but what the hell do u want for the price. that brings me back to the first question i found a hard top from a geo tracker and was wondering if it fits on my sidekick?

thanks again for replying
