Hi Folks -
Been lurking around the site for awhile; The format is great and there seems to be lots of helpful folks here! It's funny that I thought I would have never driven a Sidekick but I have really grown to like that thing. It's a '94 1.6L 8V, 5 speeed, 2WD. 100,000 miles.
Sad that my first post will be a problem but here goes:
When the motor gets really warm, say 50 miles down the interstate at WOT the acceleration begins to act very irradictely and kick back on and off, or "buck"
It gets worse and worse until you have to pull off the road and let it cool. Once it cools, its fine again. I have been told it's possibly a TPS or Airflow Meter...Any ideas??? TIA!!
BTW - There are no 'Check Engine' lights on, although my instrument cluster has been screwed for awhile so that's no help......
