[size=7]I have a 96 Geo tracker 1.6 Auto 4x4. It constantly blows the ignition coil meter fuse when I turn the key. At first it would randomly blow, now its right when I turn the key. I t has completely fried the wire coming out of the fuse block. I replaced the melted wire' still no luck. What causes this fuse to go out? I have no clue what the ignition coil meter fuse does. Where do I trace this problem to? I need a copy of the wiring diagram if anyone has it. Very URGENT!! This is my only vehicle and I need to get it fixed ASAP.

Sorry i dont have a wiring diagram but my best guess is it would be a power wire for the coil. I Looked on my 1990 Escudo and and the wires go into the coil and another part behind the coil which is mounted on the firewall. I would try unplugging them and then turn the key on. If it still blows a fuse you could be safe to assume that you have a short somewhere in the wire to ground. If it doesnt it's probably a defective coil and that would be my guess since the problem is getting worse.
