Thanks Ack for the nice thread. It is only in the UK and US the Mile and Inch are used, however, ironically, they drive on different sides
In our region (Arabian Gulf) we drive on the same side as the US (the right side) but use metric. In Australia, they drive on the wrong side (UK side), but they use Metric. There is no consistency; it should go like this: if you use Metric, driver should be on the right, if you use inches, driver should be on the left

or vice versa.
Ah well ... we managed to work things out

I can almost think in both Miles and Kilometers.
