im currently looking for a way to add more flex to my 94 sierra, what are the best ways to do so, and rough costs. any advice would be appreciated

One could write a whole book to answer that one...

It's easier if you hit a few of the vendor sites and price the suspension kits.

The key is changing the suspension a bit. Options include:
SPOA conversion
Spring reversal
Spring replacement/upgrade
Missing links (various manufacturers)
Revolver shackles

my local suspension specialists, while fixing another issue, have mentioned how stiff the setup is, and recommended i actually remove one of the (leaves?) from the spring set...
can anyone vouch for how good this is?... does this affect how strong it is while thrashing it?... i know the better option is to buy new, quality springs, but the front springs are less than 2 months old and im not strapped for cash, does this work?

Back when I first started lifting my rig, I removed the rear overload spring leafs to gain more flex. I did one trail up in Las Cruces and noticed that the flex was great! But when I got the rig back onto flat ground I noticed the after the trail the rear was noticably lower... Looking at the spring packs I noticed that they now looked like 'S's. I had bent both spring packs so that the rear of the pack was now over-arched and the front of the packs were now bent up (going the opposite direction)!

Bottom line - removing springs (without replacing them with something else) looks good, rides good - on the street. But don't take it on the trail that way. It's a good way to kill your new springs.
