Default Standard suspension height

Hello

I'm new around here. Could anyone tell me how much gap should there be between the top of the front axel and the rubber stop? Mine has only an inch, is that normal?

I ask this as on the road if I hit a bump the vehicle tends to rock from side to side a bit. A mate said it sounds like the shockers may be faulty.

Any ideas would be welcome.

Cheers

Chris

1" seems to be a little tight, but may be close. Are your springs inverted? Or are they just flat? (Flat is actually normal for these...)

Thanks for the quick reply Billjohn. The springs are flat. Does it sound like a shocker problem then?
