Unhappy 91 Sami rear diff question....

If I grab the rear drive shaft and move it around past the U joint and it sems to have a little slop in it where it goes in the rear diff.... what could the problem be?

Any expolded diagrams of a rear diff around this forum? Thanks in advance!

They do get a bit sloppy over the years. A certain amount is nothing worry about.
