hey people
i have a 1991 suzuki sierra and i have recently removed the origianl 1.3 litre carby motor and fitted a g16b fuel injected motor from a 1994 vitara. since i have fitted the new motor my engine light stays on. i was wondering if there is any way you can retrieve the engine trouble codes without a scanner. i ask this as i know that in commodores you can bridge 2 wires in the diagnostic plug and the the engine light flashes a certain amount of times to indicate what number code it is, can you do something like this in the suzuki's??
hey rhino,
yeah I had a look there were I think 4 pins there,
I could probably just try bridging two at a time to see if it does anything.
I may just have to change a couple of fuses after lol.
