Hey guys,
had a bad experience. Would really need constructive help.
Was driving along a road when i skidded and ended up in the river.
Water submerged till the door handle of the jimny..
could i just check with u guys..if anything cld be done to salvaged the car..?
it's salt/fresh water..
in the car.. water was filled to the door handle..
comms set,radio all under water...
In the southern united states (Florida, Georgia, ECT.) any car which is turned into the insurance company for flooded must be scraped and cannot be fixed and returned to road. although some salvage companies ship these cars to the northern states, clean then up and sell them. my experances with these vehicle is not good many electronic problems caused by corrsion
If it was salt water theres NO hope for the car corrsion would have already set into the electrics and engine and thermo fan would have already started to sieze up best thing to do is sell it for parts or strip it and start again My company hard A truck go into the river and everything siezed within hours sorry mate hope it helps
