Default Subaru Boxer for Sierra?

What do you guys reckon?

Symetrical all-wheel-drive 4 cylinder out of Subaru WRX or Rx equivalent. Any issues? Can it be done? Has someone done it?

Cheers

biggest concern I can think of is the width of the engine. The Subaru Boxer motor is only two cylinder long, but really quite wide, and I really think you'd have to be making custom frame rails or some such modification to get one to clear the engine compartment. But as stated above, with the right kind of money, anything can be done. A Subaru STi drivetrain was installed in a Subaru Justy (100% different vehicle arrangement), so yes, anything is possible....
