Hey guys I have a 1.6 out of a sidekick but I am not sure of the year for things like timing belts and water pumps. Is there any differance in the years or can I look at the block and identfy the year model. Thanks,
Most of the differences are between 8v and 16V engines. The 16V has 16V cast in the alloy rocker cover, the 8V has a steel rocker cover. 1996 on 16V engines have a Crankshaft Position Sensor at the front of the engine behind the lower pulley.
