I have a 1999 Jimny. The temperature gauge struggles to reach minimum and heater is not hot enough for my wife! Thought cause may have been thermostat stuck open. Went to replace but nothing there, or any sign there should have been one. Is this right or am I missing something really obvious?
Factor even took car reg when I bought replacement thermostat to make sure.
Yes, there should always be one there. I say this only because you are asking the question... but are you sure you are looking in the right place?
I have also seen a plugged heater core do the same thing, but you NEED to install a thermostat first and that should do the trick.
