Default samurai heater problem

when heater is switched to floor or defrost it works fine but when switched to vent only cool air blows no hot air. any help would be greatly appreciated

hi I got a sierra I don’t no if your car is the same but it could be in the back of the dash there might be little wire things that go to the switch it might be broken or not working properly try that hope I helped

i have an 88' zuki and mine does the same thing,not sure why?

The heater controls direct hot air to the feet and to the defrost vents at the windshield... that's all. the air vents that you see on the dash only blow cool or air conditioned air. That is the way it is plumbed from the factory. You might notice the color of the arrows on the environmental controls. Red for heat and blue for cool/cold.
