Default 99 Jimny - Intermittant Auto Trans/Elec problem!

Hi Guys,

I have a 98 Model Jimny with a G13B and there is an intermittant fault with the auto transmission. While driving it will get stuck in 2nd gear, the revs will go up and it wont upshift.

When you turn the engine and start it back on, it drives normally and the transmission will shift normally from then.

It is an intermittant problem and only happens maye once or twice a week.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and how was it fixed?

Also, is there a revolution sensor/speed sensor on the transmission and what is the procedure for checking transmission fault codes manually.

Thanks guys.
