My 87 Samuri has blow by and either needs to be rebuilt or replaced. I want an economical engine that is simple to service. I am not interested in a lot of horse power. I'm more interested in low end torque. Does anyone have any suggestions?
The 1.3L Samurai engine is dependable, simple, light, and inexpensive to maintain.
Why not just rebuild what you have? You may only need rings and valve guides. You won't know until you open it up, but it is one of the easiest engines to work on.
