Swift Engine Conversion

I searched the forums and found nothing particularly conclusive on the subject of swapping a Swift GTI 1.3L engine into a sierra. Some say it's doable others say it's silly. Has anyone done it or know if it's achievable?

I figure I'll need some adapters and the what not as well as bigger badder fuel pump and the sort, but at a base level is it possible and is it cost effective? as in would it be better or worse to swap a 1.6 Vitara EFI into a sierra, dispite being more common and slightly easier.

I'm eyeing a swift engine off now and it comes with everything including ECU and swift gearbox (although gearbox is trashed).

hey it has been done there is some videos on youtube of people doing it. it might be worth while asking some of them
