New vs older jimny

Hi Folks - I am looking at buying a jimny and was wondering if there is much of a difference between 2007 models vs those a couple of year's old? Apart from the cost of course.

We've just bought a late 2005 one - It's soft top (not available now) and has the newer VVT engine and ABS brakes.
Don't think brand new ones offer any more really except killer depreciation! Not keen on the two tone colours - We got solid "Cyprus blue"

The only difference between the 05 & the 07 was the front bumper bar and I did away with that this year. 05 was the first year released with the VVT.
