i hooked up my cb for trail use as i have in all my 4x4 trucks but on this one i get alot of engine noise when on acceleration out of my speaker basicly a humming noise that is in time with my motor rpm does anyone know how to get rid of this backfeed, is there a filter i can get if so where can i pick one up
figured it out, bad alternator- i guess one diode was backfeeding or something
but i switched the alternator and the noise went away.i went through all the grounds and added grounds that were missing and the noise was still there until i changed the alternator.thanks for the reply at least you took a shot and tried to help out, more than i can say for anyone else on this forum
