Hi newbie here. I'm onto my second Jimny having had a Freelander inbetween. I miss the boot of the Freelander but much prefer the drive and open top of my Jimny. The first one was black with every chrome extra - the latest one is red and as standard as a standard thing can be.
But I've a problem - it's only done 7000 miles (since new) and it's just had it's first service. When I start it up it kicks out loads of blue smoke more like its done 80,000 miles. I think it is down on power as well. I thought a timing issue or a dropped valve maybe but hey it's under warranty.
The dealership said nothing was wrong with the car and as I use it mainly in town for short runs I'm just wearing the engine out quicker (Uh?). I don't push it hard until the water temp gauge has started to move, but I do use a lot of the rev range (well you have to - don't you!).
Anyone in the UK able to point me towards a better dealer in the North Bucks / Beds area?
