hi,i have my 2006 jimny with steel rims and want to change it with 15x7 inch light alloys.Standart rim width is 5.5" and used with 205/70-15 tires. Please help me about that, will be any problems due to that change?exffroad, highway etc.(1.5" wider rims&standart tires)
The problems that might occur is if the new rims change the wheel offset. I.e. if the wheel is further out on the axle than with standard rims. If so the car might over steer some when turning. (It feels like the car is turning more then you turned the steering wheel.)
I give you no warranty how your new rims and tires will preform. You have to give them a test drive to see for your self.
