I am going to put 1.3 T.B.F.I. engine from swift in a carb. sammy 1988 model does anyone know what I need to change to use carb.Will the head interchange? thanks for your help John

i did the same swap just swap your sammy head on the swift block and your set realy easy

Why would you want to ditch the efi setup? I did this swap a year ago and it was great.

Got the motors out side by side took the adapter plate from crank 1.3B was auto changed fly wheel started to change intake the casting on head was diffrent but think can make it work now need to deal with dist. water port on back of engine the weather turned cool so not workin on it today.The new motor is in very good shape so would like to keep the new head if I can without mod. the body/firewall I need my heaterif my angle drive dist will work will make a plate to cover the water port it will not take freeze plug .Did you try the new head? If I plate the old thermastat port will I get the water to rear of head? Thanks for your help

I did change head added electric fan wired it from + side of coil ran poorly rewired and it runs great now ready for the hills
