Jimny Tail Lights

Hi all

My tail lights are out
I have checked the fuse and it is fine
I have checked and there is a 12 v supply at the fuse.
However I have also checked at the back of the car and needless to say there is zero volts.

Is there a known fault / break here?
Any thoughts?
Can anyone tell me the route of the cable as there is no "Haynes" manual in the UK

The cable for the rear lights is some exposed. It runs on the inside of the rear bumper with no protection against water, dirt, gravel or snow and ice that comes from the tires.

The only way ensure better reliability is to reassemble it as good as you can.
