Engine Conversion

Hi, I recently bought a 85 Sierra knowing that the engine needed rebuilding but I have just found out that the head is cracked and the cylinders have water damage.
I want to ask for some advice if anyone knows,
If i want to put in another engine, what one would fit straight in without many modifications?

what size is the original motor, if it's the 1.0L the only direct fit is another 1.0l. but you can put the 1.3 in and you will need the trany, intermediate driveshaft, and to either raise the body or use the hood from a samurai
