Default Leaking Heater Problem..

Hi All

Just the other day i noticed that my ignus begun to leak radiator fluid from under the dash.

I felt underneath the dash and there was a consant drip of hot water.

just wondering would this possbily be an easy fix like a rubber hose ? or is this unit plastic and the whole thing needs to be repalced.

It kinda sounds expensive to me if its the whole unit.

Just wanting some advise before i take it in ?

many thanks

Default Bad News

I had the same happen on my Ignis. The hole part needs to be replaced and it is $$$. Or you can do what a frined of mine did to mi car. he cut a piece of aluminum tube, disconnected the hoses going to the dash area and connected them with the tube. That way you will not have hot air but your car will not lose coolant.
