Default Power Upgrades

I recently replaced the air filter with a K&N Induction kit - very easy to do, and standard from K&N
I also replaced the original exhaust with a stainless with twin exit
I also had the engine rechipped - now the power is about 135bhp

Thumbs up

Hey thanks for your reply, i looked at the induction kits but i didn't like the idea of where it would be positioned sucking in hot air. I'v recently had a custom exhaust from MIJ performance removing one of the silencer boxes, very nice noise now made. How much did the remapping cost? And is the power noticeable??

Default Power Upgrades

TO get my Iggy rechipped cost me about £275 from a company called Dastech - you can find out from their website. Boy it made a fantastic difference. Prior to the rechip, the dyno was about 97 bhp. Afterwards it was 135bhp.

With the Induction kit there is a cold air feed pipe supplied which goes down to the fronf grill. It sounds great when starting/stopping the engine to

Good Luck

Hi there,
K&N part number from their catalogue here in the UK is an 057i. This comprised the complete kit and instructions to fit to my Iggy. Hope this helps

Default Indution Kit

Thats a full on kit of all plumbing before the throttle body isn't it? Is there a replacement hi-flow panel filter to replace the OEM one or is the airbox itself restrictive? Cheers for the info.
