ignis sport power steering

I'm thinking about buying a ignis sport and I've found one that seems to be in good condition.
However since I don't get my license until monday (already passed the exam though), my dad's test driven it and he says it's a nice car to drive, however he says the steering's a bit heavy, as if power steering wasn't enabled at all (he normally drives a kia cerato which weighs 1220kg and, he says steers a heck of a lot more easily), so I was wondering if it's supposed to feel that heavy, or if the powersteering is broken or sumthin'.
I thought I'd ask here, because the only other way to find out is to test drive another ignis sport, so this really saves time and effort (A)

hi ignis sport do have heavy steering i too find the difference when i drive my boyfriends corsa sxi it is also sometimes down to the size of the tyres I have 17inch
