Default how to remove ignis blaupunkt cd player

hello guys,
I need help about removing original blaupunkt double DIN cd reciever from Ignis 2005. Can someone tell me what is the best and easiest way to do it (I don't want to brake anything)?

thank you on any information

My plan is to remove original cd reciever, to put single DIN adapter and aftermarket mp3 player.

Talking 4 easy steps

the std head unit is easy to take out there are 2 screw that hold the cover(dash part) over the cd player thats it the rest is a no brainer.

the screws are located at the top of the cd player see the pic.

take them out and then u pull the cover towards you.
there are 2 little lugs that are holding the base in so dont just yank it out.
Just ease it out and it should come out.

Then there are about 4 or so screws holding the head unit into the dash. undo those and the head unit will slide out easy as.

then pull the plugs out.

Make sure u test them 1st to work out whats what i would list them if i could remember what was what.

***note soon as u pull the power out of the std head unit it wont work again unless you put the code in ***

thank you for your answer, but my ignis is a new type, so I dont have those two screws, I dont have dash like on pics at all.
On my double din blaupunkt there are 4 holes (two on each side). I am guesing that there is a special tool for HU removing (something like on aftermarket units) which I dont have and I dont want to go to the dealer, so I made a tool from a steel wire. I used the hand made tool in 4 holes (put the wires in holes at the same time so the unit should come out if you pull it).
But it dont want to come out, so what I have to do more to pull the head unit out and not to brake something.

I know what you are talking about what those holes are there for are to unlock the clip that is holding the hu to a frame that its sitting in
the whole thing should be sitting in a 2xdin frame thats std on most cars and thats being held to the dash/chassie buy a few screws.

Most importan thing is u have to get that plastic cover off thats sitting over the headunit its covering the edges of it up and when u get that off u will see how u to get the hu out.
DO NOT try and pull the hu out there are going to be some screw holding the headunit in there some how.

the dash will be covering them some how its just a matter of taken the cover off (take the screws out 1st )

Its worth while geting a set of the special screw driver bits because then u will always have them (if u buy a good set) and you can then buy the screws to to use on ur hu , subs amps etc.

makes it that little bit harder to rip out (for others )

best advice is look at ur dash around ur head unit if u cant see the screws good chance is that there covered up some how with caps (like the door handel screws) or that theres strong clips holding the unit in just look and see.

just take a little care when u try and pull it off and u will be able to work out were its being held down and can work out from there.

if you were local would come over and nut it out for u lol but all i can do is give u advice from looking at mine and remebering what i have done for other cars lol.

thats about the best i can do for you sorry..

Dont force it if its supposed to come out it will.
look at the surface the screws and clips are going to be hard to spot thats why there where they are so the car looks finished.

they make them hard to get out so they cant charge u a heap to take them out and change them over lol.

just take ur time and look b4 u leap.
good luck let us know how u get on.
