Default Help with the original Ignis Cd player

Hi guys,
first of all id like to say hi as im new here *Waves*

I recently purchased a Suzuki Ignis 5-Door,
It was Second hand
(But it come out the showroom about 6 months ago)
And the previous owner said he wanted to sell it quick because
he had lost the code for the cd player and he didnt wana mess with it.

So now i have a Ignis with a Cd player but keeps requesting a code
for which i dont have, what would be the best thing to do?
Should i ask Suzuki? or Should i go to my nearest Halfords and get
a brand new cd player fitted in?

You have one option. You should return to the dealership your car was originally purchased from. Dealerships keep records of CD player codes of vehicles purchased there - for the exact reason you mention.

They may charge you for it though...
You might want to consider buying something that supports at least MP3. The factory Blaupunkt is not the best there is.

i asked the suzuki dealership and they said they'll have to take out the stereo and ship it off back to HQ. and it could be charged up to £150.
Screw that,
Online a few sites said they can find the code if i get them my stereos serial number, just gotta take the stereo out ...
I looked around a few shops locally and a local car audio shop said they can recode it for me, but the stereo is jammed (because my dad thinks his a great mechanic )
So i had to book in an appointment first thing tommorow morning to get
the whole dash taken off and then they'll take out the stereo, re-encode it for me and put it all back.
All for a nifty £50.

Alot of useless info there but i thought it might of help to some people
