Hi, i have a 3/2004 ignis sport 40.000 klm in Greece.
Two weeks ago and after about 100klm of drive, at the first light stop i realised that the car sounds like diesel and a strange sound from the engine like it works with 3 cylinder but without droping the revs of the engine.
Next day a went to the local suzuki car dealer.
They keep the car 10 days, they check all the electric components ecu, cables, injection,presures e.t.c without finding the fault.
They told me that if the problem is in the engine it will be out of guarantee!!!!!
Finaly they gave me the car back saying that they put cleaning liquid to my gas and they told me to drive the car antil it finish and then to put 100 octane gas.
becouse probably the problem was from the gas.
I did what they said but the problem insists.
Today for the second time lights the "CHECK THE ENGINE" badge on the instruments.
The first time the technisian told me that the ECU found an error on the 3-4 cylinder and he erased the message from the ECU.
Please if anyone had the same infelicity with me and found the solution, just please tell me becouse i don't want to stay without my car for another 10 days or more.
