Getting one pretty soon, but the problem is that in Slovenia the local dealer doesn't have 1.5 2-wheel drive!!!?$%// grrr.... its a shame, because we're neighbours of Hungary - producers of this car.

I've been checking out Suzuki dealers in Austria and they have much better sales-persons and offer - even black colored non-sport Ignis... I still have to check dealers in Belgium.

The major problem for me is that the top speed is somewhat low for 1.3 2x4 - they can 150-160kmh... Duch says he gets 180 but I've been testing 1.5 4x4 and the top was around 165, so I don't know :/

wouldn't the best thing to do to be to try one of each at your dealer? I like the sport model but for some it'd shake there fillings out, its all down to people's preferences - e.g. I'd say the IS isn't that hard but I've had cars with harder suspension.

Question

Yo guys, I've finally decided and went to buy Ignis...

... at the Suzuki Dealer in Ljubljana there's been a nice red looking 1.3GS - exactly the same as I want to buy, except that I want it in gray-silver color. After I've talked about the price I got a shocking answer... They cannot deliver me car in dark-silver metallic color! Not in 14 days, not before New Year, not even in January/February!!? I've asked if Ignis is moving out of production but they just said the color that i want is not listed for delivery until summer!

Its the first time I've experienced this. I got my money ready and I cannot but the car I want..... anyone experienced anything like that? I'm living in Slovenia, Europe.

I've been furious and I've called to neighbouring Austria Suzuki dealer and they answered me that I can get the car of this color at their place and I've should come to them for a talk and that we'll arrange the price. Now I'm really considering of buying it in one of foreign coutries... ****, I'll go to Britain if I'll have too$%&&#"

I didn't try over 150 yet, on a dry motorway. I'm more happy with the speed on country roads (one small yellow C2 VTR was very surprised )

Also, I go often offroad, McAdam over Velebit mountain, that's why I opted for 4x4. Also, I went to Zagreb with the worst snowy conditions, and Ignis was very good...
