Hi there, as u can tell from my post count, im pretty new to this forum. Ive been searching for some time now for a sporty small car (Fiesta Zetec s, Ibiza Sport etc). However, a silver ignis sport caught my eye the other day, and one is up for sale for a rather good price - £5 grand for a year old one. (Glasgow Area) Im turning round to the prospect of gettin one, as they are excellent value for money.

However whilst the initial outlay of buying the car is very cheap, I was just wondering how much servicing costs etc would be for the Ignis sport from a suzuki dealer (i imagine all servicing would have to be undertaken by a suzuki garage to keep the warranty valid)

Does any british ignis sport owners know what a rough price is for a service? Are replacement part prices etc reasonable?

Also how much is road tax for a year? Im a right in saying its only 110 quid as its less than 1600 cc ?

I would be very gratefull if someone could reply to my questions

Regards

Gerry

yo gezza.

wow 5 grand for a year old one, that is a verygood price, though how many miles it done?

yer its around 110 quid for tax i fonk, jus paid £68 for a 6month one.

my 1st service (9000 mile) was 120 quid quite resonable. actually most of suzuki pricing is quite resonable apart from one thing ive noticed is to get a new remote locking key it costs £125!!!! couldnt belive the price so didnt get one.

full tank is about 30 quid and usually gives me between 250 - 300 miles depending on how much i ragg it.

Thanks for all the info dude, 250 miles on 30 quid of fuel is not bad , not bad at all. I expected worse. Good price on tax, and the service as well.

Yeah - its only done 6000 miles. 5 grand is brilliant value.

I'm deffers going to go and have a test drive in this car tommorow or sunday.

Every time i compare it to the run of the mill fiestas and what have you, it just stands out and makes me want one even more.

Once again, thanks for all the information dude.
