Thought I'd pass this on.

About a month ago I went to go out in my car and found a suspicious patch of oil which turned out to be a faulty driveshaft seal.

Today while in for it's 18k service I asked the dealer to check out the strange noise that made the engine sound like a deisel until I put my foot on the clutch.

Itt transpires that it is likely the nearside driveshaft is no more and a new modified one is required.
Only problem is the nearest stock is still in Japan! so Suzuki are shipping one out but still won't be here until Monday.
If you see a miserable looking Wagon R+ driver with 'Pay COST Price' emblazoned on the bonnet, it is probably a pining Ignis Sport driver.

On a serious note, keep an ear out for possible driveshaft rumbles, there is a rumour that there is a fault with some nearside driveshafts.

Hi, my car has the same problem, it sounds like a diesel when i stop the car
only, it works fine at high. It seems that there is a problem inside the motor.

Did the mechanic find the problem?

Thank you, Nick.

Sounds like the problem may be similar to what's being described in this thread:
