Default Tuning up a 2004 Suzuki Forenza

So I have had my '04 Forenza for almost two years now. I bought it used and it has now reached the 85,000 mile mark. I want to start buying parts to tune it up myself. What would you all suggest I buy first? Plugs and wires? Fuel Filter? Etc. Thanks for all the help!

a general tune up would be oil change, plugs and wires, check all fluids. if the timiing belt wasnt changed that should be done. rotors and pads might be needed

also check your suspension bushings for cracks or dry rot.

There may be some oily buildup which is to be expected but be on the look out for pools of oil standing anywhere on or around your engine.

Flush the radiator and do a transmission fluid change if your feeling ambitious.

check your axle boots for dry rot and make sure there are no hoses starting to crack.

windshield wiper blades? Winters almost here and prices go up after october.

run your car hard, no shifting till over 4000 rpm, keep your foot in it and acclerate hard for about 5 minutes. Then get out and see if you can smell rotten eggs. This could be a sign of a bad catalytic convertor.

open your oil filler cap, shine a flashlight into the valve cover. there should be a thin film of clean oil over everything, more than that and you have oil getting past your piston rings, less and you may have a faulty oil pump. Also run your finger over the camshaft lobe right under the filler cap, it should have what feel like maching marks from contact with the rest of the valvetrain but any distinct ridges or grooves is a huge red flag for future problems.

air filter, cabin filter, check your a/c for proper amount of refrigerant.

Sorry for the long write up but i baby my car and as of yet, 3 years and 40000 miles, not one issue (minus recalls and the door handle thing).
