I don't think even if the headers where put in my car I would pass smog. But it depends on how the headers are made. Meaning are they track racing headers than I am pretty sure I will not pass smog, but if they are street performance headers, then there is a chance. And I am talking about the rest of the car stock.
The only time I will be able to do this is in summer, which is like 2 months away, but I am not really looking to add that much power to my car. We could see if Zerocool is up for it as I know he said he has access to a bunch of tools as well. But with one no show I don't know if it would be a wise thing to do.
Zipper - You may want to go to a smog test place and see how much smong your putting out from your mods as of now. Because I know stock our cars have one of the lowest emissions out there, so it may be good to see what your putting out. And Zipp I do not have the UD pulley, just the CAI form BMS.

Well no worrys, this is only something that crossed my mind as of now.
I dont know what you'd consider these headers, there isn't an easy way to put headers on our car without taking out the first CAT so it isn't something I wanna even try.

Okay. But it sounds like the headers are not an easy thing to install.

Hey Kinky, what if there was a way of changing the location of the first cat lower, or along the bottom. That way, we cali guys have no worries. Maybe a different line from the first to second cat to allow this. Have it as an option or something. TBEL! To Be Engeneered Later

You mean lower it as in droping it or moving it back? Because from what I understand we don't have a lot of space under the car. But what good would this do for us cali guys anyway?

It's too much considering half the cali guys would buy it anyways. But on the good side I talked to someone that hollowed out there first CAT and said by looking at it it probably didn't do much so you should still pass.
If you move the cats to close to each other then you will have performance problems. You need space for the pressure that is built up when the exhaust enters the cat. Super Street did a build on a Sentra SER SPEC V, They removed the first cat and kept the second and still passed Cali Emissions with a performance header and exhaust.
