Default egr/ lack of power

egr hose keeps poping off. removed the exhuaust to tell if cedi was clogged still doing same thing. also when under driving load the engine loses power while accelerating and only reaches 40ish. also replace the sparkplugs, sparkplug wires and distributer cap. one thing i noticed is that the ignition coil makes a ticking noise not sure if thats normal ordered an new one. its on the way. any ideas

the car is a 1995 suzuki esteem 1.6L

Hoses popping off usually mean that there is excessive pressure building up from somewhere, check your PCV valve and make sure that it isn't plugged up.
