Default Too high idling

Hi all

Hope some one can give me a clue.
I have just mounted a new(second hand engine) in my daugthers Baleno 1,6 wagon.
It starts and run perfectly, but the idling is too high.
When it gets warmed up its about 1900-2000 rpm.
I have checked the trottle stop and all connectors at the injecting system and all seems fine.
Just tried to spray some diesel start at the complete system to see if runs faster, but no.!
Any ideas are very welcome.

Greetings from Denmark
Jan

you should run by your local auto parts store or shop and ask them to scan your OBDII and see if you get any codes.

I'm thinking you might get a P0507 code for idle air control issues. The manual also mentions the EVAP Control System with high idle, but not sure.

I got this from autozone too:

Quote:
Trouble Code: P0507

Idle Speed Control System Higher Than Expected

Possible Causes:

IAC valve control circuit is open (intermittent fault)
IAC valve power circuit is open (intermittent fault)
IAC valve ground circuit is open (intermittent fault)
Throttle plate is carbon fouled (it may need to be cleaned)
PCM has failed
