Removing Door Panel '00 Esteem

Hello all, I was hoping somebody could tell me how to finish removing the driver's side door panel. I almost have it off except there is one spot that seems rather tight and wont pop away from the rest of the door. This tight spot is located directly above & a little to the right of the interior door handle lever. I included some pics to illustrate the problem.

It's hard to see in these pics but the plastic trim closest to the side view mirror feels attached to the black window guide and when pulled, both come away from the window (see pic2). However back towards the interior door lock shaft, the plastic pulls away easily from the window guide when pulled (see pic3).

Can anybody tell me what's going on here & what the problem is and how to get around it? I'd really appreciate some help with this if anyone can help that'd be great!

I'm trying to remove the interior door panel to repair the exterior (driver's side) door handle that is broken and prolly replace my door speakers (both sides) while I'm at it.

Sorry to double post, but just thought I'd mention that I able to get this figured out.

The window trim is part of the door panel, which is broken now, it hooks over the metal in the door. Also you know you have unscrew the lock post, and remove the door handle.

Thanks for the reply, I was actually able to get the driver's side door panel off without any problems after reading this post. And while the window trim near the door lock did come away from door panel, it never actually broke and I was able to get it removed in one piece. However when I removed the passengers side door panel, I did break the plastic tab from the back side of the interior door handle latch that slides into the door frame; but luckily I was able to pick up another one at a junk yard today. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find the exterior driver's side door handle which was the reason for going to the junk yard in the first place.

I had to go to the Suzuki dealer to get a new handle, it was around $47 (US).

$47.00...............Ouch!!
Unfortunately no door handle was found locally, though I was able to find a driver's side exterior door handle on ebay for $28 (US).
