Default Changing shocks?

So it's time to finally pony up and change my shocks since every bump I hit is murder.

Any tips on brand or type of shocks to buy? Any other advice?

I searched this forum for shocks and found one useful thread. I'm getting help from two experienced guys that know what they're doing and thankfully have tools.

Default shocks

Jeff, KYB shocks were oem on your car from the factory.

Koni has an adjustable insert kit for you struts, this will give you a 5 way dampening adjustment.

Contact Koni USA, ask for part # 8610-1331 Sport Esteem

98 esteem 1.6 GL
I was looking on Amazon since they can do free/cheap shipping to Hawaii.
they have monroe sensa-tracs for about $43-48 so about $200 for all 4.
I assum I'd need four of the strut mate mounting kits for about $25 each.
All in all, $300 is not bad.
I'm still going to check with some local auto parts places and see what price they'd quote me.

Does anyone know if I should get four of these strut mounting kits when replacing my shocks?

Default Changing shock

it is not so easy process, but still you can do this with the help of suitable manual and kit for that. Find the process on several websites also. They may help you in better way.
