Default Baleno 1.8 station wagon OBD1 or OBD2

I have a UK spec. Baleno 1.8 station wagon (2001 model). Been looking through the forum threads and cannot seem to identify if I should get hold of an OBD1 or OBD2 interface. Any thoughts?

1.6 models are OBD1, I don't know what a 1.8 would be. You need to check the diagnostic plug as described here:

Whereabouts are you located?

You know for sure that a UK model Baleno is OBD2? The FSM that I have shows the SY418 (J18 engine) as OBD1.
