The 1st picture is from the top and the 2nd one is from the bottom, to remove the handle undo the retaining screw and push the handle forward and gently pull at the same time until it comes out of the door frame. then you need a flat blade screw driver to unclip the rod retainer once this is done lift the bar upwards with the screw driver and pop the rod off.
Now you can remove the door card once all the panel pins have been popped and the retaining screw behind the door handle has been removed.
