I have currently Suzuki Baleno 1.3 .. and its Converted to CNG factory fitted and its always started on petrol and when the car picks up the heat then it turns itself to CNG automatically. i just want to ask is there any possiblility that we can start it directly to CNG like in emergency cases if my petrol turns out to be empty like i forgot to put the petrol in the car and it ends up n car dies then how can i start it directly on CNG .. ?? is there any possibility .. ??

I have never worked on a CNG car but there are CNG vehicles out there that only run on CNG so what you want to do should be doable, since your's is a heat activated system that switches the fuels you would probably need some kind of pre-heater for the CNG to get the car started.

Not sure which ad you were talking about but a number of people on this forum have done custom replacements of their air filter systems so I'm sure that there is some way to make your's the way you want it.

I would talk to a shop that works on CNG vehicles they should be able to tell you what you need to do.

You can start ur car directly on cng by adopting the following procedure,

1- The conversion switch has to be set to gas position.
2- Turn the ignition key on (Do not start the engine).
3- Turn the conversion switch to petrol position and then back to gas
gas position and start the engine.

i have another silly question if you dont mind answering .. i am currently using the tire DUNLOP size 175/70 R13 .. and usually i feel like these tires arnt enought for the car i have 1.3 baleno. Can you guys tell me which tire i should preferably use for the best grip ? Its rim size is 13 inches .. i was also thinking to move to 14inches alloy rim. Can you please guide on both the 13inches as well and 14 inches rim as well .. about the tire size .. ?

Before you waste your money on an air cleaner just remove the cover from the air filter box and run the engine without an air filter so that air is going straight into the plastic intake tube, then floor the gas pedal for about a quarter of a mile if there is an extra 25 horsepower there believe me you will feel it, if it feels like nothing changed then putting on an after market air cleaner will just be a waste of money.

My 1999 Suzuki Esteem has 14 inch steel rims with size 185/60-R14 tires on them.

My daughter's '97 Baleno has 195/50 on 15" mags. (Aftermarket as far as I'm aware)

The owner's manual (or metal tag inside the driver's side door frame) should tell you what range of tire sizes is acceptable for the vehicle.
