OMG, these engines are really that underpowered?!?

Well, I guess that is one way of not making them blow up is to under power them by 100 hp, I can't really complain though the 1.6 mine has really launches itself with the stock horsepower and I've been perfectly happy with it.

lol the compression ratio's on these motors (9.8:1) are perfect for a turbo application. the engineers at suzuki did an amazing job on these engines w. 122hp@6300rpms out of a 1.8l w. incredible gas mileage.

I bought the 13g turbo, supra smic, and dsm bov today! I need to order the SS feed line kit. But I'm gettin the car in the next 2 days or so. I'll be relocating the battery, and working on turbo mock up! I will photoshop the set up!

Well I found out today that the fuel injectors flow 270cc@ 41psi 311cc@48psi (which 311cc would be good for about 210hp) so i'm going to get an afpr as well as a safc

im looking into dsm 360cc injectors or 450cc injectors in the end i'll probably end up running a 16g turbo when the 13g isnt enough..EBAY TURBO FTW eventually

I've ordered dsm 390cc injectors from mitsubishi mirage 1.6t and injector resistors so i can run low impedence injectorssssss.
The analog SAFC should be here sooon, I will also be running the JAW 1.04 instead of NAW for wideband and datalogging.

Hook up everything anyway and then floor it, the rod knock will go away after a few seconds : )

Then clean up the mess and start building a new engine.
