Default Chirping noise

I have a 2000 Esteem. About 1 minute after start-up, I hear a "chirping" noise, which increases when accelerating up to about 60/kmh. After a few minutes of driving, the noise goes away when I press down on the clutch, but resumes when I'm on the gas pedal.

Any thoughts on what this may be?

Thanks

Two things come to my mind, one being serious, one being mostly a nuisance, first, is the tranny full of oil? reason I say that is that it goes away when you push in on the clutch, could be a coincidence.
Second, it could be an idler pulley or tensioner pulley on the acc belt, mine had a chirp like that, it starts when a pulley bearing is going out, that will likely take a while if it ever does anything at all.
