Engine rattle when cold

Hey there,

When starting my 1.8 baleno wagon from cold I get a rattle that lasts for 1-2 seconds and then dissapears. The car is running perfectly otherwise. the car has about 100000 miles (160000 km) on the clock. Any suggestions?

Do nothing, its the hyd lifters, both my 1.8s do it too, they take a sec or two to pump up with oil.
I think you can get an anti-drain back oil filter to help prevent that. Other than that, don't know.
