alternator question

Hi guys
I'm new here,
i just want to know if 2000 1.8l esteem alternator can fit in my 2000 1.6l engine or not
cuz that alternator is expensive in canada
or does anyone selling one in working condition here?

search here reveals a couple in Canada that might be affordable.. depending on shipping costs (usually around $30 from these places in my experience)

they look alike(from pictures),
cuz I found one from ebay and that cost only $50ca for 1.8
but $120 for 1.6 =(

They do look the same in the pics, so maybe its just a connector or amp difference. Take the 1.6 alt to the parts store and compare it.

I saved myself $75 once by switching the back housing and pulley out on another application. I don't know what kind this one is, but ND alts share a lot of similarities between vehicles, and are very easy to diagnose and repair.

I bought mine to the store, they said everything inside is corr-ed
I need to get new one ot used one to let the car run
cuz my car was sitting for 1 year already
