Sunroof

Today while driving in heavy rain, I noticed some drips around the edge of the sunroof glass, now I don't think the glass actually seals? or does it? I know it has a trough and gutter system with drains under the glass.

I never liked sunroofs and this one hasn't changed my mind. I had a similar type sunroof in a 92 model car. The drains on those usually clogged and made it hold water, eventually rusting through and then leaking on you.
I plan to take off the glass where I can see up in there and inspect before this one has a chance to do that.

To true. If there is any dirt at all anywhere along the sealing edge of the glass you will get leaking. Clean ofter with only soap and water. Don't try and condition the seal as it will only rot.
