01 esteem data link connector NO POWER?

Maybe someone could solve this mystery. Good battery,car cranks normally but does not try to start. But what really puzzles me is the fact that my DTC connector link does not have power. My code reader works on other cars not this one. all fuses are good all relays are good Im geting fuel,Im getting spark???????????? please help thanks.

If it will not start your CHECK ENGINE light should be on, have someone else use their OBD-II tester box and see if theirs will connect to the engine computer, if it will not either your engine computer may have died.

Thanks thats what I was thinking. when I get my computer will I need to have the dealer "flash or reprogram" it before it will work in my car? thanks

Not sure, ask the dealer if it needs to be reprogrammed or not.
